Create a scene using at least 3 original symbols you created, then manipulate them, rotate, stain, scrunch, or move them to complete your illustration. Keep your individual illustrations simple, but create an interesting scene.

We were tasked to make 3 symbols a create a piece of art using those symbols. I really love Studio Ghibli and I took inspiration from Princess Mononoke's tree spirits. I really liked drawing a couple of them in different poses. I wanted to make it like the scene where the are on the tops of the trees. I also wanted to give them that mystical and glowy look so I added a translucent white over them so that they seemed like they were glowing. I started with a base dark green for the start of the trees then I added a few of the spirits then added a lighter green on top of them. I gave these green blobs a gaussian blur so that they seemed more blended and flowy.
All-in-all I really liked making this project. I know I went pretty simple with this project but I really like how it turned out.
